I was driving to work the morning of June 26, 2007 when I looked up on the ridge and spotted this buck. It was 5:55 a.m, I had time to stalk this boy. By 6:50 a.m I was within 20 yards, hiding behind a bush. I would stick my head out, snap a couple photo’s and then hide again. After about 7 pictures the buck clued in and ran off. Check this pig out! 26 year old Adam Konrad of Saskatoon caught this Rainbow Trout in Lake Diefenbaker on June 5, 2007. He caught this fish on 6 lb. test line. The current record was caught in 1970 on Alaska’s Bell Island, and weighs 42 pounds 2 ounces. Adams trout measurements are as follows: 43.6 pounds, 38.75 inches long, and has an amazing girth of 34 inches! Photo evidence of the 43.6 pound trout was first publicized on trophytroutguide.com. What an amazing fish, good job Adam, I hope your record stands.
