Head Mount Pictures!!
Here are some pictures of my, Cory J, four deer head mounts. The buck on the right in the first picture is a 4X4 Saskatchewan Whitetail that I shot my first year hunting in that province, 2001. The buck only scores 132″, I have shot a couple that are a little bigger the last few years, but I still have not connected on a Saskatchewan monster! The Whitetail on the left was from 2006 in the Kelowna, BC area, and he grosses 169″. The Mule Deer in the middle is also from 2006 near Kelowna, BC, and he grosses 183″, he is not very wide, and doesn’t have great tine length but he is very heavy and high. The buck in the other picrure is a 6×6 Whitetail with split brow-tines that gross scores 146″, I shot that buck in 1994, near Kelowna BC.
These pictures are of Darryl Fair and his head mounts. Darryl shot the California Bighorn sheep on August 25, 2006. The Ram makes the British Columbia Record Book, scoring 151″, the Ram was 8.5 years old. The second picture is a 160″ Mule Deer that he shot near Merritt BC in 2005. The third picture is a Whitetail he shot in 2004 near Kelowna BC, the buck scores near 150″. The fourth picture is a Saskatchewan buck he shot in 2006, the buck scores in the 130’s. The fifth picture is Darryl holding the two bucks he shot near Kelowna, BC, last season, 2007. Darryl shot the 160″ 4×4 Mule Deer with his cross-bow Sept. 7, 2007. Darryl rattled in the 8×5 Whitetail and shot it with his riffle on Nov.2, 2007, we have not scored that buck yet.
This picture is of a super wide Mule Deer that Calvin Davis shot in 2005 near Kelowna, BC. The buck is over 28″ wide. This buck would have scored big with some tine length! This deer was also taken in the Kelowna, BC, area.
This is a picture of Jeremy Schraeder’s two head mounts. The Whitetail was shot near Kelowna, BC, in 2003, the buck scores 153″. The Stone Sheep was shot in 2005, in Northern BC.
